Day #25. Hello colour!

So day #25 is a quart way through!

And fancy, I managed to get my tub out of the cupboard and pull out pastels. Oh yes. Pastels.

This is my very second pastel drawing ever! Pastels are insane. I have dust all over my computer, phone and desk. Even after I've put pastel to paper, I can push it around with my eraser and it moves!

Day #24

It's like 3pm these last few days: both drawing-wise and just living-wise. You're OK in the morning, amazing in the evening... but at 3pm if there was a bed right there you'd be inhabiting it! The day 20's feel like 3pm to me.

Day #20

You know what I like drawing best? Shadows. As soon as you draw the shadows then everything becomes 3D and alive. I love them.

So! This is not finished. Unfortunately my eyes closing and I didn't get around to drawing the night sky. Or the potting mix near the watering can.

As to the plants I have on the balcony: Vietnamese mint going wild already, then oregano and coriander sprouting. I've just planted chillies, mint and parsley, but only a few days ago.

Day #18

Day #17

So tonight I drew 2 pictures after Dave and Stu went home. One was not for the blog... This one is! The kitchen after dinner. Fun nights mean fun mornings too...!

2 weeks of drawings! Day #14.

1 or 2 minute sketches I did on the train. Really fast ones. Mostly because the people I drew got uncomfortable. Also because I gotta practice drawing really fast too. That's what Ricky said and he's correct.

1 minute goes really fast. I stopped when they saw me draw, then when they looked away I draw the rest of their body! This is sneaky. But then, drawing someone without their knowing is really fun. Drawing them for a minute is like observing them for 10 minutes.

Day #7, one week down!

Man I got in early this time!... 1:48am.

Dazzles' prized Blaupunkt television on stand, insides exposed. Want to see more televisions and some crazy dude who collected them? Then see his blog.

Shiiiit.... I'm losing control. Day #6!

I need to give music to Dad for the party. I don't use my iPod. All our CDs are in boxes.

This is the mess I'm in.

Day #6!... No, Day #5!

The wonky paper bag replicates my posture of almost falling off my chair in sleepiness...

Same deal! Need a new system. Bed after midnight, drawing after going out on da town...

Day #4

It is 12:49am... technically day #5, but I drew it on day #4 and the waitress in Vegie Bar told me that "Sorry, we can't dish up a scanner". This is a chair at work I scribbled quickly before I left!

BTW, whoever wrote a comment about my foot drawing, I am sure I will never know who wrote that because there was no name.

My first redundant five

"100 days! That's not too hard. That's only 3 months." - Me.

I began just over a week or ago, and already I've missed several days. Which, by my book means starting the 100 days over!

Here's my first five days' effort.
